What can i do with Astrophysics degree as a career??

That's what one of the guys I went to school with did - finished his degree in astrophysics and was working in high finance of some description last time I heard. He was rather bright though and very good at maths so I suspect that he could have done much the same with almost any degree.

Perhaps it should in some ways but it certainly didn't for me and I'd think it was a bit of a shame if people got (too) stuck with choices they made at 17 or 18 about what career they wanted to do. I didn't know at that age what I would want to do as a career, I'm not convinced that I do yet but I wouldn't want to trade my directionlessness really as I've quite enjoyed the process so far - if nothing else my experiences have taught me what I don't want to do and that may be as valuable ultimately.
 
You could get a job at NASA, then start getting appearances on those boring space documentries* they try to make more interesting by adding fancy graphics and soft drum & bass music.


* only messin I really like them tbh.

Stop putting three full stops after everything, you might have a better chance of getting into Oxbridge then. :p
 
You can do anything you want.

What you might want to consider is the type of career you want, in which industry, whether you have the ability and/or intellect to compete effectively in that industry and THEN make your choice of degree subject.
