I don't think people will get bored as this can give you a proper workout which some will take quite seriously, plus it's more fun than going to a gym.

Just spotted this tonight on the tv with David Beckham
Oh yeah. I did read about that. Shame he's not in the game itself though. I wouldn't mind him putting me through my paces.
my wife is very tempted for the fitness applications that are out / coming out for it but ive just measured up our living room and the actual floorspace is only 4ft x 6ft and it seems this just isnt enough.
She has a wii and wii fit and has used it almost every day since we got it in april as shes doing weight watchers also and is very determined.
pity really as i wouldnt mind having a 360 in the house so i could pick up a couple of games but i only really want forza for the 360 as i have a ps3 and a decent enough PC so most of my gaming bases are covered.

Bought one yesterday with Kinect Sports and Dance Central. I'm still a bit on the fence as to what I think about it. I thought that we would be able to use Kinect all through the dashboard, so I was a bit surprised by the Kinnect hub. To me it feels a bit like a half finished product, I guess more updates will come in time. I also think I need to sort out the calibration a bit more. I only really had about half an hour with it last night, so I will give it more of a go tonight and see what I think.
I recieved mine today and i,m far more immpressed than i thought i would be. Its very accurate its just like using a Wii but without the remote & Balance board.. I only have the Adventures game which after 5 mins i was completely knackered so i can see it doing me some good.... I have ordered the fitness one for the wife so will see how that is.
My friends cat got him an achievement for having 2 people dancing at once.

That's the only thing that has really annoyed me about it...we were supposed to be able to control the entire dashboard with it (hence the new "Kinect-ish" dashboard look etc.), but the functionality isn't there.
I assume they'll gradually bring it in over time with updates, but it's a bugbear nonetheless.
I think i have enough room its about 12ft before i hit my back couch, i could move it back further, but my main problem is toys every where on the floor (swinging chair, bouncy zebra, farm, leapfrog learn and groove). I'd also like some form of attachment so i could attach to the top of my tv, not sure if i trust blu tac like i think someone else said.
I have purchased one for children though, but not sure if to test before christmas.

pity about the space issues as Your Shape Fitness Evolved is very good.
Hmm i have had this since yesterday and i,m getting a bit bored of it now. The fitness game is ok but nothing special. I lol,d when it asked for my weight.. Wii fit could have told me.... Will give it a couple more days but think i,m going to sell it or return it as i can see it being like the Wii and not used after a month or so...

I like the tech, and i really should use the fitness game as it would do me good but i,m just not sure i will... My wife may fall in love with the fitness and then it will have to stay. I will give it a couple of days and see what happens..
Its completely different when you use it in your own home. When i tried it in store it was crap and un-responsive. But in the home with it calibrated it works really well and i said it was a lot better than i expected....
