You could have got 50% off + 10% on the EA store until yesterday, unfortunately the code has expired now.
 
i got someone to take some SS with 32xAA forced for me




there is no way in hell that is 32xAA look at my shift shots in the high res screenshot thread thats what 32x aa should look like

edit: aparently they have every setting in the nvidia control panel set for best IQ.

i wonder if one of the games settings could be stopping AA from beeing applied correctly.

i see someone just replied to that guru 3d thread who obviously has an nvidia card complaining they cant get any AA to work even with nvidia inspector etc.... im starting to think the ati guy is using the dodgy blur AA

lol i love how everyone here starts bumming each other over how graphics arnt important its the gameplay that counts then cry when a game has no AA lul
 
I've ordered it, cops and robbers chases sounds fun and the idea of the social aspect of the engine sounds intriquing. As soon as I have registered i'll post some impressions plus my tag. My machine isn' the fastest. Windows XP, AMD Phenom II Tricore (920 I think) with Nividia 460 768MB card so should get an idea on performance as well. AA, my screen is 1650x1050 so I don't think it's a big deal but I may change that view once I have seen it :) Hopefully we can get a few people in on this

maybe people wouldnt mind if the cars didnt handle like skateboards and the only way around the corner is to tap the brake and drift around like its rage racer

That is the only worrying thing :) Then again it could have been a push towards the console side rather than implying anything :)

I read the performance thread - a number of the cards were quite old, even though the pcs had reasonable processors so just got to see if its going to be an issue.
 
guess I'll be downloading from the EA Store thursday night, prolly too late to order and receive from other places before friday... £5 off voucher and the 10% so £20 aint too bad, looking forward to this :)
 
Mine is showing as dispatched so hopefully tomorrow. Don't forget gametags when we have them and I will keep a list on the original post
 
Having watched all the gameplay videos/trailers released, it just looks like a bash into everything game, don't actually steer and rely on the barriers at the side of the road to carry you along the A to B track. I might actually be interested if the handling looked even remotely realistic.

If the Police got Zonda's and other super cars IRL I'd change career !! it's an arcade fun racer and not really aimed in anyway towards simulation or realistic racing ;)
