Not currently.
Edit: I assume this is referring to strikes and not infractions, infraction points do expire.
By posting this I can be one step closer to seeing what the heck you are all talking about.
Last time i was suspended it Gave NO RESON... seems like the Mods just couldnt be botherd to type a sentance.
how is it?Oh, the irony.
That FF pic is scary...
Yeh G|mp MSN me, although I've got a new address which I'll email to your trust so you can add it.
Surely if you were being persecuted you wouldn't be allowed back every time, you'd just be perma'd and done with?
IMO (I haven't read the whole thread), I think the ruling in this MM (compared to other forums) is excellent - it gives me confidence to sell/buy. I don't think they need to be relaxed at all.
I find it mildly amusing that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of users who use the MM regularly without problem, yet when someone does break a rule and gets their access removed, there is suddenly a problem with the rules.
The MM rules have always been explicitly clear. I know if I screw up out of my own ignorance, I will be banned. Simples.
No problem, and definitely no changes needed.
this, it's not hard to quickly re-read the rules every now and again when making a deal or buying something
anyone else think it looks like dale winton![]()
That's my point. The current rules as listed in the FAQ which were changed on 5th September are NOT the rules which the Dons are using in MM.
The old rules were:
1st offence: 2 day suspension
2nd offence: 5 days suspension (I think)
3rd offence: banned
Current rules are listed as:
1st offence: 5 points and a warning email of the rule your breached
2nd offence: another 5 points which would give you a 2 day suspension since you will have 10 points.
After that it doesn't say how bad you need to be to be banned.
I have no problem with either the old or the new rules and I am not asking for them to be relaxed. My argument is that forum members should be able to know what they are though!
Not many people are arguing over their suspensions as most people know that they did something wrong after they get back in or can figure it out. The only time they don't is if the thread has been deleted then they don't even know which rule they broke. People are arguing on this thread that the punishment does not currently fit the rules.
Imagine if it was a court and you knew the rule for breaking the law was a two year suspended sentence but when you got to court, they don't tell you the charge and announce life imprisonment for shoplifting.

Tried the contact route when i had a suspension recently, had no response
I apparently trashed a thread but got a suspension, which doesn't match the rules.
2.2.1 - Members trashing the threads of others, with no intention of buying or making a sensible offer, may have their Members Market access removed permanently.
Erm.....no
Major MM rule break,
1st 2 days,
2nd 7 days,
3rd 7 days + possible MM access removal.
Minor MM rule breaks,
1st infraction,
2nd infraction + 2 days,
3rd infraction,
4th infraction + 2 days and so on......
TC.
EDIT. For the record when I sus I always give a reason.
