Of course not, but let's say that you're single, you're out, and you meet a girl. She's around the same on the scale as you, looks-wise. You don't consider it that way, but it's there in your mind. You would gladly have something happen with that girl.

While there is some truth in that, it does seem attractive lasses are attractive to all. And the truth comes from, not that mingers fancy mingers, but they just drop their standards.

What I said makes sense. Where people here are saying 'looks or personality', for most of us, that choice doesn't reeeeeally have to get made, because most people are average looking. Average looking men can pull average looking girls and be quite happy with them.

Most people don't have to settle for an ugly girlfriend. So the looks/personality choice is, for most people, not relevant, because we can just wait a bit and find a girl that has a nice personality and that we think looks nice. She doesn't have to be Cameron Diaz.

Ugly people go out with other ugly people. That much is clear.

Confidence ? If you rate yourself 2/10 then I'd think someone needs a shrink...

Though, admittedly, I often find girls quite a lot uglier on pics than in reality or in a film or well, moving...

Ugly or nice is VERY subjective too, some of my mates have very different tastes, while a girl is OMG HOT to some of us, to some others they may be ''meh, wtf, ugly'' and the other way around too...

If she's on the same scale as me, I still don't see why I'd consider it any other way than that.

Your logic seems to be that if she will let you screw her then in your mind she must therefore be a goddess.

If you subscribe to this logic you must be a complete loser whe NEVER(/rarely) pulls, and thus has a completely twisted/narrow perspective.

Are you denying that ugly people tend to end up with other ugly people, the brutally handsome seem to end up pairing off, and all the rest of us, the normal people, end up together too?
