Question from a newbie,

Looking for a replacement battery for my 13" Macbook, but they all seem to be over £60. Can anyone recommend a cheaper site? Just PM me so we don't break any rules.

Thanks!

IIRC, a new one from Apple is £100 and you keep the old one. Or £80 exchange, but only 90 day warranty.

Some earlier macbooks had battery problems, which Apple replaced under warranty?

It's a fair point, but as I bought my Macbook used off a friend when I was desperate for a laptop for University I simply want to find a better price than what Apple is offering which, in my case, is far too much.

That in mind, can any of you please direct me toward an alternative - anything - option for a battery that simply works. Please!

Laptop batteries are not cheap, even for Dell, Sony ect. Remember that they are high capacity and use propriety interfaces + markup.
