Just debating through the songs i love from them, went to the NEC on sunday to watch Top Gear live and this song was played, awsome stuff!

Fantastic experience live at Reading this year. Tent of thousands of people, such good fun. Gutted they didn't play Hold Your Colour, though... :(

all their new synth lines are too happy/cheesy, it's just not d'n'b.

they're more ghey metal than anything now...

also, i'm annoying steve wilson worked with them! god man, have some spine :D

mike have you listened to the 2nd rendition of my tune? :D

/on topic

yup, they've become sellout whores, but fair play, they've got lots of money etc

masochist & through the loop are my favourite tunes they've done, wish they'd do more similar

Cheers, I didn't know about the 2nd version, I'll give it a listen this weekend when I can use my sub without waking anyone up! ;)

As for Pendulum, I guess they've now got enough to live on, it's just a shame that they'll never top their first album... I'll eat my hat if they do manage it however!

nice one mate, appreciate the feedback :)

exactly, they started so strong it's almost impossible for them to top it. going slightly off topic again, they're lazy as hell when it comes to dj'ing, they hardly ever turn up to events in cambridge, but are fine to do things in london... it's like they don't care about the scene anymore; they've got what they want...

This. Came out banging, went all Prodigy - Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned. Now everything they do sounds the same with that one bloody synth line.

How about the same "boom dum..... boom dum.....boom dum.. ....boom dum.. ...boom dum.....boom dum, boom dum boom boom dum" drum beat in every bloody song too. If you go to a D'n'B gig now it sounds like the DJ is beat juggling the same two records all night!

I know. It's clang-fracking-tastic. Love it. Harder the better. Keep the poncey floor fillers for the teenagers and girls.

I like the 'harder' stuff too, but when this came out it sounded profoundly different to most other D&B at the time:

Back then there was still scope for originality, now every producer seems to use the same sample CD and it's got boring.

It wasn't until I heard The Rukus by Tech Itch that I knew what way my dnb leanings where going. I'm loving the stuff coming from the Russians at the minute. More leaning towards breakcore than dnb. Used to love my gabber but that got all samey with that distorted kick unce unce unce unce. I like complex drum patterns and breakdowns.
