No confirmation if there will be a 3 door variant - I think that a 3 door might look better. 335bhp and 332 lb/ft 4WD and 7 speed S-Tronic.

Can't understand it being 5 door only. Surely it would be better to pin it up against the super hot hatches (Focus RS, new BMW 'M' 1 Series) instead of 5 door stuff cause for £40k I know I'd be looking at some sort of Impreza?

I can't believe how uninspiring this car is, both inside and out. The ONLY bits I like are the seats and because it's so jaw-achingly bland, they look odd. It's strange because if anyone can pull off a performance estate it's Audi. The A3 has looked ridiculous ever since they came up with the 'sportback' though.
