On racism, This is exactly my point, there is no racism, people just think there is because there's a black man. It's like reverse racism or something :D

True to Fox's mathematic formula, MikeHiow attempts to twist the story (i think he must be up to about 60% at the moment) and makes himself look like the victim! :D

You couldn't make this stuff up.

No I sympathise to a point, however it's a bad reaction to a bad problem and he's only made things worse for himself. He could left his van parked in front of the garage during the day to prevent this or even install a drop post. However he chose to endanger life and was suitably punished.

Why should he spend money or go out of his way in any way to stop people blocking his access to the road?

I honestly can't believe what I'm hearing. It makes me wonder what planet you are living on. Another idealistic teenager?

Both parties are in the wrong. It's that simple.

You should not park in front of peoples garage and you should not damage peoples cars.

Mike, what was your assumption every person in the crowd was from the same family and had all come from the same house if it was not based on your impression of the habits of the ethnic group your perceived the crowd to be from?

Where did your assumption come from if it was not based on prejudice?

Stereotyping. There is no prejudice, unless they are scroungers, but race is irrelevant here, too.

I made my stance on race etc. perfectly clear a few pages ago. You can drop the race thing, I and many others with a shred of empathy and common sense would have the same opinion whether the offending parker was black or white.

I'm not the victim here, the OAP is.

Yes, he totally should. In the same way that I need to install locks to stop the 'darkies' stealing my TV. Do you not get that? It's certainly cheaper to do that than pay costs after ramming a car into the road and it beats losing your licence as well.

No, I'm 23 and live in a London suburb. You live on an little Island where everyone knows each other.

Perhaps that is it, you've grown up thinking stuff like this is acceptable, and the real victims are the people who've done wrong in the first place.

So tempted to close the thread at this absolute & perfect post.

Ahahaha okay. Cool.

No, he didn't choose to endanger life, the scum herding around him whilst he was moving chose that option.

I've grown up with the belief that just because someone has done something wrong to me it does not give me remit to break the law. The courts agreed. What's to argue about?

I don't particularly like that fact that he was swarmed in on and intimidated. However how can you expect any less after carrying out that stupid act? He didn't have to get in the car and try to run someone over, that was his misjudgement.

Nobody thinks its acceptable to block garages. It's not. But neither is it acceptable to bash someone's car out of the way, either. You are a fine one to talk about morals, what with your 'I am not paying for that' approach to damaging cars you are being paid to work on!

Your stereotyping was based on nothing but assumption of which ethnic group the crowd belonged to, something you don't know.

I still fail to see this issue here when the 'customer' agrees to this beforehand, you make it sound so much worse by omitting this part, but then, that is just "your way" in Motors, isn't it.

Either way, you've been repeating yourself for at least 4 pages now.

To be fair, the OP is worse than anything Mike's posted in the thread yet I don't see a mob forming for him?

There have been many people berating the OP, it's just he doesn't reply with guff and escalate it every 2 minutes like Mike.
