Just looking for potential upgrades for my system in coming months, I currently have a Overclocked bundle from here:

Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P mobo,
Phenom II X2 550 Processor ~3.6GHz with Arctic Freezer
Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) 1600MHz

and running a

Pallit GTX 460 ~ 850mhz core and 2100 mem,

and using an

Antec 850w True power quad rail.

Just wondering what the best route value for money wise to take for an upgrade.

Would I notice a massive improvement with a 6 core Amd or should I be saving my pennies for an i7 setup?

Any one tell me what my current bottleneck is??

Cheers in advance guys

Save your money for either AMD bulldozer or Intel Sandybridge coming next year.

Do you have a SSD?

This or try and get a good price on a six core chip and overclock to 3.4+

Are there any particular apps or games, which are struggling at the moment then?

Playing BFBC2 at the moment and MOH the latter nicely as its a console port isn't it but BFBC2 gets choppy when things get intense right when you don't need it lol!

Not desperate to upgrade but getting a little jealous of friends upgrading and wanting to spend wisely for a change.

Don't have an SSD no using a Spinpoint F3, this wouldn't affect gaming too much would it?

Yeah that was one of the reasons I picked the bundle, I can get it to post with 3 cores but it doesn't run stable unless its near stock speeds even then get the odd BSOD. 4 cores I get nothing
