That's a terrible design, I see plenty of areas where zombies could hop up the walls via crates and glass walls are never going to keep creepers out. Whoever designed that clearly has never encountered them.
 
Hi Chaps,

I'm a bit of a Minecraft newbie, and I see this as probably the best thread to post this question in.

I'm currently making my little house underground just to find my feet - if I keep the area filled with light will that keep the creepers out?

It won't keep them out, but they can't spawn there.
 
This is a great game, but VERY addictive. As in i found it more addictive than warcraft haha. I might come on one day. :)
 
Is any1 else having this lovely bug where mobs spawn in then imediately out. i couldnt help noticing that they were actualy moving around as they were flickering constantly, Topsticks there couldnt see them. I'm wondering why he can't see them tho, Nick could see them around the mob spawner.

can you spawn yet without dying instantly?

not been on in ages as I'm waiting for that to be fixed - never got a chance to get stuff stored away in the bank so everything is in my inventory and I can't really afford to lose it.
