Only ones for 'proper' money. Takes a long time to find one for under £16,500

The plain Jane C5 is much more common though. I do like that black one I linked to a few posts up.

Well after a hard think over the weekend, I've decided to narrow the list down.

R33 GTR
R34 GTT
Mustang
BMW E46 M3

The Porsche is just a little out of my budget I think, and after some conversations with my friend that had the TVR, I think I'll avoid all those bills.

So I'm stuck with the 4 above. I've taken onboard some of the comments made so far, The Noble I remember seeing a few years ago at the Motorshow, and loved it but I want a car that has a decent interior with electric windows! The Corvette, I just don't like. It sounds great but looks dog ugly I think and quite dated, and I'm not going to spend 15k on a Vauxhall.

I think I'm leaning towards an M3 to be honest, what are the running cost differences between the cars above? I drive about 8000 miles a year, but I wanna make sure I enjoy every one of them!!

M3 for me out of that list. It will standout more if you choose a decent colour (leguna seca blue, or that puke yellow for example)

Can't stand that sort of stuff.

To me it looks like a 15 year old white Jap thing. Sure It'll go like total stink I'm sure but it just looks so 90's.

I'm not sure how a Corvette looks dated when an R33 does not :confused:

Still each to their own and there is a lot to be said for personal preference or else we'd all be driving around in the same thing. None of the cars in your short list are bad so have fun test driving them and pick the one you like.
