It will last for a few weeks over the Christmas period and there will be both continuing deals and one-day only deals. Some times a game will be listed in both so it doesn't pay to buy too early as many found out last year :)
 
i have bought a few cheap bits in this one, mainly the Indie packs, I am too waiting for the Xmas sale :)

feeling nostalgic and want a copy of painkiller lol
 
AvP is likely as it is in the list that hasn't been wrong yet. Just hope there is a decent price for it...
 
God Steam sales are terrible.

They get me spending so much when I shouldnt be!!
I got Episodes From Liberty City yesterday. Its 16GB, and because of the activity on Steam's servers I am on 300kb/s ¬_¬ Still, only got about 5 and a half Gig left :)

Nothing took my fancy in todays sales, waiting for the update tonight, hoping for something epic to finish it off (yn)
 
AvP was 50% off in a Steam deal just a few weeks ago because I bought it. Probably unlikely it would return so soon.

And it's crap btw, I wasted my money ;)
 
Guys I already bought half life 2 and team fortress 2. If I buy orange box will I be able to gift those 2 games to some one else as some one mentioned in orange box thread?

Only HL2 and EP1. The others you won't get extra copies for if you own them already.
 
Grrr Orange Box sale only until 6pm? Don't they realise that some of us don't get home from work until later than that? :(
 
bought the orange box but it said at the checkout you don't get another copy of the games you've already got!

When I bought the Orange Box in early 2009 I got a gift copy of HL2, because I already had the game.

it didnt give me portal but did give another copy of Half life 2 ;)
it should say on the checkout page what games you wont receive
