Q6600 cooling

I currently have a q6600 g0 clocked at 3.2 with an original freezer pro. I am looking into pushing it a little further but temps are hitting 67 under prime95.

What the best cooler to buy to shave off a few degrees on my load temps? I would like to try achieve 3.6.

Ive just installed Prolimatech Megahalems rev B to replace arctic freezer pro on my Q6600.

Have hit 3.8 with push/pull viper fans on the Prolimatech Megahalems with load temps of 72c.

I was going 60c+ @ 3.2Ghz, touching 70c @ 3.4Ghz with the mk1 Freezer Pro.

Replaced with a Prolimatech Super Mega Cooler & x2 Akasa Vipers.

Now stable @ 3.6Ghz 1.5v Vcore maxing out at 63c under load.

Prolimatech Megahalems seems to be the best air option people go for these days.

Has anyone tried the hydro h50 or h70 on the 6600? Was thinking about replacing my freezer pro with it in the new year and going past my 3.2Ghz I'm currently using, any thoughts?

1.45 I think, my vid is 1.2. Only ran prime95 for a couple of hours though.

1.45 is pretty good Walter, i needed 1.512 in bios for 3.8ghz, temps were 68-68-62-62, albeit the cpu and cooler were lapped, used dual sharkoon silent eagle 2000's on the cooler. Actually used the TRUE on my current i7, slightly better than my current prolimatech super mega with dual vipers.

Just ran prime95 for 4 hours with it 3.8ghz @ 1.4v, temps were 72, 72, 70, 70. Will try it a little lower next time.

Got an h50 on my 6600, not overclocked tho, but when it was temps were in 50's i think (oc'd to 3.2)
