It's snowing

We got about 6 in last night.

My son's school (near my work) is shut, my daughter is off sick and the motorway right next to my office is closed, will I be going in today?

Told it was going to start snowing in my area last night / this morning :)

Not much, but it has just picked up a little bit now

Getting a good covering here in Guildford. Makes for great fun at uni!
I got a text from them this morning saying the campus is all but closed :p

South East :) Near Gatwick Airport :)

They reckon the airport will be open at 6AM - No Chance :p
Haha, yes I see they've moved that bar to 6am tomorrow :D

We've had another 4" overnight here in Beckenham. This was yesterday outside and by the woods:

Sat refreshin g that page like mad :p

I need to get a bus to the manor top, which isnt a problem...i then need to get to at least darnall...the website doesnt mention the bus to darnall yet so just hanging fire dont fancy sitting at the manor top for hours :p

It says the 52 is running but not serving darnall.

got 8 inches or so on the ground now but i suspect i will still have to go to work :( its 22 miles away and afriend told me they have about a foot of snow (east grinstead)

Southern Trains completely shut down on all routes, looks like I wont be getting to work. Decided to take a few photos, this is in Crawley, a few miles away from Gatwick.

Just spoken to a mate who works at Gatwick, and the word around the airport is there is absolutely no chance of it opening at 10.00 like they've been suggesting.

Forecasts suggested heavy snow all night, instead we got some heavy snow a few hours ago which sort of settled. So we have about an inch at push! :p
