I'm up for that. I enjoy the extra element of risk mobs bring to the game, but Creepers are just annoying.

At the moment there is no way of turning off creepers off it's all monsters or none.
But are you not ment to go outside at night only if your full armed with arrows is that not part of the game ?

Yes I can give you loads of leaf blocks I will place a chest at the base of the tree house later.

they only explode if you're next to them, in the fort i just used to lead em out to an open area where they wouldn't damage anything.

^^ Windle & Tefal have been telling you what you need to do so I am not sure what the problem is :confused:

The fort is very well lit.

my fort's been untouched by creepers, just need to be well lit, and creepers are a lot of fun, hearing distant explosions and waiting for someone to write 'CREEPER!!' or something hah

Try now I have just been on, also it now saves the servers IP but it does not work for me if I use the saved one it says 'outdated client'
But if I type it in like we have been doing it works.

Its because it doesn't store the port, chuck that in and you will connect every time

Can people stay out of the inside of the fort for a while till I've finished getting all the lighting down please, parts are still dark and parts i have lit up have had big patches of torches destroyed by people being caught by creepers which just makes things worse.

Once the lighting is in on the floor an walls I'll put a quick door in the gate so it can be used as a safe haven if needed.

Accepting not because im guilty, but because I respect what Garsands has done with his server and understand what he has to put up with, whiners

Anyway, as im out - ive a ton of good minerals, I mean 100+ Diamond, same for Redstone, Obsidian, Gold etc

If an admin cant dish that out via server commands, im happy to give Garsands or whoever my password to let all that out into a box somewhere, seems a bit of a waste to have a lot of goodies stuck in limbo as it where.

Whats your player name Bes ? I can then setup a /protect chest with logs & leaf blocks. This will not be done till later tonight 10.30pm.

Keep them you will need them when you come back.
The 100+ Diamonds must have taken sometime to mine & find some of the dupers can make them easly so they would not need them.
The ones that don't like to dupe will not want them as they like to find them.

hindrance is my brother, and I just told him about it, he's played a lot with the OCUK guys on L4D(1&2), so although he's not posted much, he's been around the community for a while =). He's not going to grief (if he does I'll kick his bum =P)

If Shr00m asks for access as well, he's my other brother so I can vouch for him too =)

I wish I had a nice quad core CPU with a ton of RAM. I just tried running my own server (locally, not on the net) using an entirely flat world, no mobs and no animals, and the server was constantly in the 70 to 90 % range on my CPU, and using up a fair ammount of my limited 2GB of ram. If only all of the server commands (such as giving items) worked in singleplayer

The sort of thing I wanted to test building was an automated mine cart track, and also a redstone keypad lock. Something that can't realy be tested on a live server where just getting the materails would take a while, and would mean dealing with mobs.
