I'm not the one coming into a thread to mock about England losing?

I didn't see you and your skirt wearing mates when there was a chance of us winning :)

I do agree that there is a sense of entitlement among some people in England, but the fact is, we're a very attractive destination for the world cup. Fans worldwide watch our league in the millions every week, and our stadiums are adored by many. We also have a nation who loves the game as much as any other country in the world (much more than Russia or Qatar). Not to mention our public transport is good and already in place, we're not hugely racist towards black footballers, and we don't lash people for being gay.

I'm not saying that England had far and out the best bid, but to get just 1 vote is very confusing

Well, considering FIFA said on several occasions we had some of the best credentials, it seems odd that we didn't get past the first round.

The logical conclusion is that (unsurprisingly) FIFA dont like England, pick any reason you like.

Tbh im asking why others only got so few votes, their where others with very strong entries far and away ahead of russia and quatar (Japan/USA/Spain/Netherlands/Australia) I'm very intrested as to see how many votes the USA and others got.
 
Ive decided Im now looking forward to Russia over England - the women as just miles hotter - more than happy to attempt to keep warm over there :D

I expect alcohol will still be banned for Muslims. People have the wrong impression of the Islamic world, I think it's very gracious of them to allow alcohol into their country for the consumption of their non-Muslim guests.

You never had a chance, rightly or wrongly, and now all you are doing is resorting to insults because you're hurting so badly that your beloved best country in the world, actually isnt.

I've not claimed that at all, I bit back when you claimed we were all crap because we had to blame corruption for losing, which isn't true, some people did :)

You can generalise us but we can't make generalisations about you?

I don't doubt it is very progresive, but with such an endoctrinated faith and rules with very very clear views and punishment for breaking them. It is very odd to just let the people whos veiws and behaviour are so vastly diferent to the local population go about their behaviour infront of those who would be punished for doing so not weeks before or after the WC.

My statement was to highlight that if their would be no world cup, would this pogresive views still be in place for tourists or guests.
