Hi guys,

Looking to upgrade my 2 x 2GB OCZ reapers.

I have two more RAM spaces available on my Striker Extreme Mobo . .

Im running windows 7 ultimate edition.

& looking for another 2 x 2GB to make 8GB . . . but really struggling to find the same reaper RAM (as I believe you have to have the same type) - if not give me a grilling and tell me otherwise - but any help to find another 4 gb would be much much appreciated

Best

Edit: Found these: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-201-OC - again not sure if they are the right ones . . .

Your best bet may be on the big auction site, also. Is your ram the reaper x variant, if so you may have issues with all ram slots populated, the reaper x heatsinks clash when all slots are filled, if your current ram has the slimmer heatpipe, like the one you linked above youll be fine. There were at least four different heatpipe designs on the reaper kits including the x variant.

I will have a look at the big auction site . . im just worried I will buy the wrong version.

Youll be fine with those sticks mate, youll need to find a set with the same timings of 6-6-6-18, strangely though, the 800 mhz reaper pc6400 i had, (same style as the pic you posted) had default timings of 4-4-4-15 @2.1v, my 1066 mhz reaper pc8500 was rated 5-5-5-18 @2.1v.
