Sony 22" TV with built in PS2

I would absolutely love one of these, at the moment my hifi unit with all my stuff in hasn't got room for the PS2 so it's sat in the cupboard collecting dust and my PS3 isn't one of the backward compatible ones. This would be on my Christmas list for sure if it didn't look like they took a slimline PS2 and literally glued a TV on top of it.

Not sure what a Mega PC is, but it actually reminds me of An AtariTT/MegaSTe with the screen and 'pizza' box under it..

It was a PC with a Megadrive built into it.

That exact PC was my first computer, but without the bolted on MegaDrive. So close yet so far

Bezel is too big for my liking but otherwise a good deal. The PS2 is still getting good sales in some parts of the world. I think it only launched in Brazil last year.

Would you have to pay for a tv license with this (if you just used it for the ps2/dvd) ? Could be great gift for a student friend who doesn't want a tv but would love somthing to play some ps2 games on.

You wouldnt need one no. But you'd have to inform them about the details. Otherwise they'll hound your friend like a criminal

I'm not really interested in the PS2 but I wonder if I could get some emulators running on it nicely, now there's a thought.
