I thought that would be more appropriate. As people say, this sort of thing raises awareness and gets people talking, but doesn't actually do anything in real terms.

Would somebody please inform me how changing your picture on facebook is going to stop children getting abused? I am pretty sure child protection charities are not getting any money from you doing this. It is pointless and a waste of time.
If you want to help out why not just donate some money to a charity, that might actually be of some use to somebody somewhere.
