Suggest a costume - 1920's "Gangster" theme

My work are putting on a Xmas party in a few weeks and the theme is 1920's Gangster.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a costume for this? I know there are obvious ones, but where would you suggest I could get something decent?

Hire a fitted black with white pin stripe suit Inc waist coat + matching hat. Tommy gun replica not recommended

Violin case would be good

I went as a 20s gangster for a 'decades fancy dress party'.

Black shirt, black trousers, black jacket, white tie, grew a little thin mustahe, slicked back hair and borrowed a hat. Borrowed a white scarf from my friend's girlfriend and some spats from another friend.

Everyone said it looked pretty good and didn't cost me a penny.

I went to one in one of these last year. Make sure you get the moustache and the fattest cigar you can get as well.
