games great but GFWL is the worst thing on this planet for gaming . i dont buy games that use gfwl anymore after some of the bs ive had with the stupid system.

Stalker does not use GFWL anyway you only need the GFWL Marketplace Client to download it then the DRM is all Securom so no need for GFWL client to be running at all.

The GFWL Marketplace Client is only used to purchase & download Games/DLC it never ever needs to be open once you have finished downloading.

just do a search for stalker and it should show us as being 75p aswell

Thanks for this. Unfortunately after doing a bit of research it turns out that the Stalker Complete Mod 2009 which is almost essential won't run on my current graphics card. So I guess I'll hold out until I upgrade to something that can cope with it...

I'd still get it, it won't be 75p again for a loooong time.

Probably a good idea actually - once I am able to try it out I can always see if it is worth getting the rest on a Steam deal or something....

I hope so. However, if not, even the minimum spec for the Complete 2009 mod is above my machine. I'm hoping I can run it with only the gameplay mechanic fixes, but can't check this until I have the game and mod installed.

It should change around 5pm (the price for stalker) that's when the deals seem to have been changing even though it says 4.30.

Where did you find the minimum specs ? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

i keep seeing people saying GFWL is crap with no reasons stated.
personally, ive never had an issue with it so game on! :cool:
