Hey guys,

So I've been trying to streamline my news into manageable chunks (Tech, Computers, Gadgets as well as the every day news).

I'm wondering how other people cope? What news sites do you use, and which ones have you had to remove from your 'everyday catchup'... assuming you check the news everyday.

At the moment I'm using Google Reader on my PC and on Android with 12 or so feeds. I'm finding the BBC one really makes it hard to keep up at the moment though!

I only bother with the ten most read stories on the BBC, and sometimes the headline. Other times I just check out the local news.

Tend to look at bbc news page. Then if I find something interesting I check it out via google news. Its interesting to see how different news sources put their own spin on events

Three sources.

Toms hardware on speed dial, then bbc.co.uk/football and bbc.co.uk/news

Then GD too, don;t venture in any specific forum, I have "new posts" on my speed dial too.

bbc.co.uk for news
Engadget for tech bits
joystiq for game bits
neogaf for more in depth game stuff.

My home page is igoogle with feeds to:
The Register
BBC
New Scientist
Pistonheads
SlashDot
Engadget
Techdirt

I use Google Reader. Great when you link it to Newsrob on Android so you can view the headlines offline as well.

well I read these daily on my Opera Mini speeddial on.Android.
Anandtech.
Fudzilla.
Semi Accurate.
Overclockers forum.
Overclock.net
Abovetopsecret.
Kitguru.

Don't bother with real world news, it's all a yawn fest.

Twitter is my only real source of general gaming nonsense, not following any news feeds on that as such just various interesting gaming folk.

Does anyone know how to grab the BBC RSS feed URLs? I don't want to have to install a client on my PC because I view them through Google Reader linked to Reeder on iPad.

Online:

BBC
Ars Technica
Engadget
New Scientist
Scientific American
Various forums

Offline:

The Times
Radio 4
BBC2 Newsnight
