You mean the phone line went dead? Any number of things could have happened there, you've just presumed the worst. Open a thread in the right place on the forum and someone from OCUK will look into it. And for reference I wouldn't have said you want to speak to someone about a parcel you're waiting for, something more along the lines of "I've been in touch with DPD and they have informed me that the parcel you gave them to deliver to me has gone missing" at which point they would probably phone DPD for you to chase it up.
