In the year 2000 my family and I were due to fly back from Barbados on a special weekly chartered Concorde flight. Two weeks before the holiday the Air France Concorde crashed. BA didn't ground their fleet until 3 days before we were due to fly back from Barbados.

BA flew us home business class and offered the whole family free 1st Class return flights anywhere in the world. We choose New York, and in late August 2001 we went for a week. We got home on September the 5th 2001, having spent the last night at the Windows On The World restaurant.

The Concorde crash directly allowed us to see the World Trade Center, one week before it was destroyed.

Obviously this is just chance and a big coincidence. But it's probably the most notable of my life.

What's yours?

There was a period a year or two ago whereby everytime I looked at the time it would be XX:37.

Dodgy watch, or you should look at you watch a little more often :p

"... it is only the manipulation of uncertainty that interests us. We are not concerned with the matter that is uncertain. Thus we do not study the mechanism of rain; only whether it will rain."

Not quite what you're after, but if my dad had been on time one morning back in the 80s, he'd have been on one of the trains that crashed at Clapham.

I came home today to find a UPS van parking up in front of me, delivery guy got out right next to me, we both walked down the street, I got my key's out and started to open the door to find he had was standing behind me.

It was quite odd, had no idea anything was being delivered.

And you haven't walked quite the same since.

Missed the train to Manchester (to go shopping in city centre) on the 15th June 1996

Biggest OMG moment of my life to date.

The biggest one I can remember is my ex sending me some pics of an owl, and the same night on my way home from work on my bike, an owl was just stood in the middle of the road. It didn't move until I had rode around it.

I didn't even want to tell her as I thought she would think I was talking ****.

Had the ghost mask from scream as my MSN avatar and it then came on Channel 5.

Was talking about the movie Se7en with my friend, and she asked me if i was watching it. I wasnt, yet it was on TV.

Saw a girl on a bike at the side of a motorway, Red Waterproofs on. A while later we hit traffic, and about 20 minute after waiting in the traffic we came to the scene of an accident where a girl had been killed. Same bike same water proofs, couldnt have been the same girl, as her bike wasnt faster than our car.

So coincidence, or I saw the dead girl's ghost riding the bike.

I went through a period of looking at the time or asking someone for the time and it would turn out to be 22:22 or 11:11 or similar, was quite worrying!
