Hey, sick and tired of waiting for a few classics to arrive on eu psn, so took the advice of a friend and have set up a US psn account, just a question for anyone else who has done this, i'm just a bit paranoid about adding funds from my credit card. they wont post anything out that will land me right in it? lol

Appreciate how poorly this post is laid out btw, it's just so off the top of my head, also i checked forum rules i don't think this violates anything? i'm not talking about piracy here

I think the only way to add funds is via a US$ PSN card or via some other web intermediary. You'll need a US billing address to use a credit card.

I don't understand how it would. If you can't enter your address because of requiring a US state and ZIP code, isn't that just going to look suspicious to MasterCard?

But aye, if you get it working then let us know!
 
Maybe ages ago - but Im pretty sure its all been tightened up quite a while ago (least a year)

Post back if Im wrong! Think a few of us want some stuff off US PSN

Well i've got a US psn account now, signed up no problem. Just curious how to get funds on that bad boy, this feels so desperate just to play resident evil 2 =/

Same, I want to buy 1, 2 and 3. I have them on disk somewhere but it's so much more convenient to have them on the HDD.
 
Yeah plus playstation media was so delicate lol, you breath on it and that is IT the thing is just going to crash repeatedly, I still feel slightly cheated that they havent bothered bringing them over to the EU psn, think dino crisis is up there aswell that was a great game too

Ah I missed that on PS1 so yeah I'd grab that too. I'm a bit reluctant to buy a gift card though, last time I did that they decided to release Metal Gear Solid on the EU store a few days later, no announcements, no nothing, it just came with the next store update. I was more than a little annoyed. :(
 
I too, almost got cheated in a similar manner, was just looking to buy a copy of final fantasy 8 (mine died) and in my googling for it i noticed it was being released on EU PSN about 3 days from then, was glad i hadnt bought it
 
I've used Entropay in the past to load funds but this no longer works. :(

I think your best bet is to find someone selling the Store cards who will send the code via e-mail. There are sites out there who do this if you google.
 
Bit iffy about doing it, the account is just registered with some random address in the states, think its a blockbuster lol. just paranoid they will send out a statement or something with my card details on it, hmm
 
Why would they? Cant think of anyone who would document your card details apart from the issuer anyway...

Never had anything from PSN ever apart from emails...

I've got things from my US PSN account. I just used a US address and zip code to register and then bought a us PSN points card from the net.
