Uninstall office 2007 pro

Hello,

I uninstalled office 2007 through add/remove programs so I could install office 2010 but I cannot install it as it says there on remnants of 2007 on the machine. I have google'd it and used ccleaner/your uninstaller and reg seeking apps, but still can't seem to remove it. Has anyone else experienced this? Cant do a restore as it has not saved that point and I really don't want to rebuild the laptop just for office 2010/2007?

I might have not sure will check when I get home tonight. Could this cause this issue? It's not in add/remove anymore, tried the microsoft fix thing and this didn't work either.

Yes it can and does cause that issue. Can you print screen all the applications in add/remove programs?

tempted to do a restore now as it's so full of hp crap.
 
looks like you've got a whole lot of crummy software on there.

i'd be looking to reinstall at that point.
 
Thanks all. Decided to format it and start again, then will make an image of it so I don't have to build it from scratch again. Gonna get rid of all that hp rubbish on it.
