Is my friend stupid?

I had my Focus from 18 for 5 years, and I only changed it because an S cropped up and I was in a position to buy it outright. I wanted to change my Focus but did not NEED to. 10 years? Probably not, I could have easily had it 6/7/8 years if nothing suitable turned up for me to chop it in for though.

It was not brand new however and it was a 1.8, not a 1.2.

I also gave him a hypothetical situation of If you had £10k and you could have the choice between a BMW E46 M3 and SEAT Ibiza which one would you have (ignoring insurance out of the equation)

He still said the SEAT Ibiza, eiogfubweogwibevw!

Joshy I think you are right, I am wasting my breath on him, We did have a good laugh though because my friend has a £100 car and he could buy 100 of them for the price of his Ibiza.

That's crazy... I had a 1L Corsa for my first car that was 10 years old... Did exactly what he wants: A car that keeps him dry and gets him from A to B. However, I saved £8500 on the price he paid, didn't get rinsed for petrol, bought an Astra last week, and still have spent less than him.
