Try this.

Remember there are always at least 3 sides to every story.
His side, their side, and the truth.

In this case it looks like his side of the story varies massively depending on if he's bigging it up on his blog, or for the media. How close his story is to the truth is anyone's guess.


As to why the BBC don't expose it, well the answer is obvious, they're biased towards him...or against him depending on which side you fall on:p

Now i realise why Ben was asking those questions then......sorry Ben.

They should ask him questions about his blog. The bcc do have a duty (naive i know) to represent the truth, like has been said there is more than one side of the story. And if the truth is that this Jody McIntyre is exploiting his disability for his own ill-gotten means then we should know about it.

I'd rather hear the truth rather than the pandering to X minority. Even if the truth is they dont know.
 
Those blog excerpts are priceless... They totally change the context of the interview.

I would have liked for Ben Brown to present him with one or two of those choice comments, and ask for clarification.

I don't know you well enough, but i could say that most extremeist views on this board are from the small number of far left posters here. Yes there is a larger number of right leaning people here, and i count myself as one of them. But if we are discussing the amount of leaning here, then the left wing people on this board are far more 'left wing', some as we found out during the election are outright communists (they admitted as much)

When I originally made this thread, I have to admit I wasn't aware of his blog.

But its obvious that he is a total pleb and committed to causing problems for the authority.

It could be argued that his blog is entirely fictional however loool.

I do however stand by my opinion of BBC News and and Ben Brown.

Ben Brown is a known shill for the government.

Ben Brown has previously worked as an embedded journalist so he knows how to shill for the government and push their agenda.

But then the BBC would be even more severely criticised of biasing toward the government. They can't win. People will interpret a news channel's supposed bias in which ever way suits their cause best.

Do you have citation for the claim that Ben Brown is a Government agent or has a vested interest in pushing a particular political agenda?

It sounds like an outrageous claim.

More recently, Ben was embedded with British troops in the Iraq war. Ben wrote about his experiences in a book, 'The Battle for Iraq', notably how a British soldier saved his life by opening fire on an Iraqi militiaman who was just about to shoot Ben in the back with a rocket-propelled grenade.

Urgh, you only have to look at the replies to this thread to see what's wrong with a large minority of OCUK posters.

It's not the protesters who go out with the intent of using violence, it's the police! if you were trapped somewhere, against your will, for being entirely peaceful then of course you're going to get angry. The police want you to be angry, because it gives the mainstream media an excuse to portray you as evil. Thankfully most people can see through this guise.
