Perhaps, but if somebody is spending all their time seeking employment for a well paid role that they are qualified for, then I have no problem with them claiming the JSA. That's what it's there for surely (although my point is meandering the subject matter I guess and isn't necessarily based of the OP alone).

It's there to bridge a gap in employment, not to support a family for two years.

But the OP has unusual circumstances, so it isn't the same as if Dazza McChav was unemployed for the same period. He just didn't include any mention of it in the first post, so it was understandably misinterpreted.

Never had to resort to happy pills, probably should have, but too scared about getting back off them.
