Fast 5 First Trailer (Fast and the Furious 5)

Man, I'm a HUGE fan of the series but I actually would prefer them to not bother. The original and Tokyo Drift are the only ones worth watching. I find Tyrese Gibson absolutely abhorrent in every role I've seen him in, could he be any more of a token black guy?

His only line in the trailer, "This just went from Mission Impossible, to Mission insanity!". Sums it up really. Whats the bet they post process this into glorious cardboard 3D aswell?

Jordana Brewster though, still would.
 
I hated the 2nd one with a passion but didn't mind Tokyo drift. This one looks like it could go either way of either being horrendous or actually quite good.
 
This looks much better than the last one, another sit back and enjoy action movie but this time its on at the imax, whoop!
 
probably crap... seems like they ahev started trying to copy bad boys 2 or something..

which still has a better chase scene with the ferrari :P

Yep i thought Tokyo drift was just utterly dire and rubbish...but the rest have rocked...looking forward to watching this.
 
Well Well Well another Cliche move from the F&F team.

First one was great as it was differt... Something new that concentrated on the racing.
Racing appeared to take a back seat in the ones first after!
 
I liked the first one, 2nd was meh. Tokyo Drift was good imo because it was abit different, love the Japanese stuff. Not seen 4 or 5 and don't really plan on doing but will at some point.

Vin Deisel isn't a bad actor. Just these films are really badly written.

I liked 1, 2, 3 (Tokyo Drift), wasn't really a fan of 4 though


Speaking of Initial D, I really liked the film though I know of plenty of people who were a bit meh about it
 
Yes they're maybe not the best movies ever written but I like them and I actually think Vin Diesel is pretty good actor when put in the right roles (riddick for example)

As far as I'm concerned fast and furious cant really go wrong, I'll buy the dvd/blu-ray without thinking about it like the others purely as they have modified cars, (usually) hot women and a plot with lots of racing/crashing/exploding things going on.

If nothing else it's better than some of the rubbish you get on tv these days....plus han's back :) Mind you not sure why they stuck roman back in the series, weren't they going legit after 2fast2furious....


Tom85 - I thought the order of the films went
fast and the furious - the first one - main cast
fast and furious - Brian still a cop, ends like it does (not telling plot) - introduces han
2 fast 2 furious - Brian no longer cop and on the run, introduces romeo
(I assume) fast5 - han still with dom, romeo linked with brian etc
tokyo drift - han in japan
