They are a spectacular thing to watch, saw quite a few a month or so a go, however I'd rather like to go and see the Aurora Borealis.

I went to Hawaii once on a conservation trip. We slept out on a beach under the stars... I think I gave up counting after 5 minutes... I think I counted over 40 :eek:

Never seen one in the UK mind.

Seen one or two in the past few years. Trails where quite short and only visible for about half a second.

How many have you seen? Many things happen all the time that I'd love to see, which I don't, ever. Mainly involving fit, famous women of course, but hey.

I saw my first 5 ever 2 days ago in the space of 2 minutes, and that was the Geminid meteor shower which I don't even know whether they actually count

Most things posted on forums aren't a big deal. Otherwise they'd be very quiet places.
