Just bought my tickets - missed the last one, so definitely want to go to this one.

Only 11 months to go :D
 
Love the series and really do think they have become more than just games (a bit like the Metal Gear series.)

I have piano music for FF7,8,9 & 10 on my ipod actually - that's how sad I am. :D

gotta say didnt like it at all. When something is legendary changing it too much just wrecks the whole thing. Can barely hear the themes in some of them there is so much "extra" bits jazzed on... (only downloaded the mp3s tho).
 
Thanks for the heads up for this, I constantly have "Tour de Japon" playing on my iPod. Just brought VIP tickets, can't wait to meet Uematsu!
 
Bah, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I just realised that may be the week that I'll be having a friend from America visiting who wouldn't be too keen on going... but he might not come afterall.

I guess I could buy the tickets just in case, but then sell them on if I can't go? Would this be possible?
 
It was all downhill after 9. The soundtracks from X onwards were done by other composers as well as Uematsu.
In fact I don't think he's even done any composition for the last 2 or 3 games.

Still booked tickets though, as the man is a legend. 30 quid for the inner circle. Not bad :)
