I'd say it came down to personal experience with people from different cultures.
Not always no. however it certainly contributes to some differences of opinion and those based on hatred are the most common to be based on such.

I'd say it came down to having the capacity to rationally think about things..
I'm no fan of the way a large amount of muslim people conduct themselves and go about life, I am also no fan of most aspects of religion and I've been quite vocal about that on these forums. But neither am I niave or bigotted enough to think all muslims are the same..
Just to spice things up, learn some better English; it's "Hear hear".
Personally, it's due to having been brought up in a multicultural and multifaith environment and respecting other people's religions and cultures, whether I understand or agree with them or not.
