Will need to use a Home shopping deliveries service after christmas . for a couple of months only ,

Anyone on here use any of the others apart from Tesco and are they any good

It's an avian orgy. It's pretty much a duck stuck up a chickens ass which is then stuck up a turkeys ass. It reminds me of Back Door ***** 7 but damn it tastes good!
 
I cant believe noones mentioned sacking Tescos off completely and going to your local butcher

24hour Tesco...
2-3 mods of frozen turkeys
1-2 mods of fresh turkeys (from the 19th)

Why the moaning? People want everything done for them by someone else these days. Get out there and do it yourself.


(a "mod" is a unit about 5-6foot long, and will hold 20+ turkeys).

If you pay someone to do it for your it is reasonable to expect that it be done!

Did this last night - £18 for a medium sized fresh Turkey and plenty of 'em.


problem with 24hours shopping is that the logistics of keeping the shelves full is so tight that there is no room for contingency when things go wrong. And this is pretty much why we can't cope in the snow.. We all live convenient lifestyles at maximum pace and on the edge of capacity.
 
Delivery driver made it to you in his van, I reckon you can drive out of there with a bit of delicate driving, get a turkey, and get on with enjoying christmas!

Utter rubbish, besides if you did get anything that was close to the display date it clearly marked on the top of the receipt.
As for the whole turkey dilemma as far as I was aware the only turkeys that were for delivery between the 19th & 23rd were fresh turkeys. All frozen ones have been available for weeks and don't I bloody know it!
