(console gamers? I remember gaming on a 4 >>meg<< 486 pc. (& remember the 286 before it). Hope your credentials are in order to slander me so. :D )
 
I don't think it was a bad game, per say, I just think it could of been amazing.

Mafia II.

It could have been something really special. It wasn't.
 
I was so up for AVP but then played the demo, my god that was one way to not sell a game.

Id also say Blops for PC, Terrible terrible release. Still not working for some... That is shocking.
 
New Vegas. Ugly and boring. Lame missions, characters. Don`t think I`ll ever go back to finish it, and I loved Fallout 3.

Guessing these people who are complaining about Catacalysm were bought up on the brain dead no skill AoE fest that was WotLK and are suddenly outraged that they actually now require to display some level of skill and patience to progress through the latest expansion...
Good riddance to them tbh.
 
I was really disappointed by Dragon Age Awakening. The story line was so fail, the new characters sucked, too easy, combat etc. was fine but it was just such a negative from Origins :(
 
Bad Company 2: Vietnam.

Vanilla is very good, although still not quite the BF experience, most of the conquest maps were well designed, and the game is overall very balanced. Vietnam just loses more of the freedom with it's terrible map designs and directly ported chopper controls.

Also why make it easier to kill people?! All weapons are more accurate than the modern ones from BC2, and I was hoping for more of a challenge... They obviously caved to people who HAVE to have a scope on their weapons..

Overall this is the most disappointing release for me this year.
 
Easily FFXIV!

And I suspect almost everyone would have voted for it, if they had played it!

I'm still bitter with square for wasting £40 on it, daft me got the collectors edition(which I hardly ever do) as I thought it was a sure fire winner.
