Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

Im going to look a little insulted at that statement! £2.50 for all of civ 4 is MILES beyond what the game is worth!!!

I got it on release for £30, spend another £15 getting the complete edition on dvd then another £25 getting it on steam for mac, a silly amount for a game that iv put well over a thousand hours into...

Anyway go buy it for £2.50!!!!!!!

Nah, as I don't have time to play this for a while, and there is every chance the price will be cut further in a daily deal, I gain nothing from buying now. Though I imagine I would be saying the same if I got the game on release and had enjoyed it as much as you seem to have done.

Probably stick with just the first Fear game then, saves me nearly £4!

ok this is a bit weird, bought some games last night so I left my pc running over night to do its thing. Woke up before to get a drink and my pc had the blue screen of death with exception error :(

Now every time I try to open steam it gives me a "steam.exe (main exception): CMultifieldBlob (pserialized): Bad field - extends past end of blob

what is that????

Haha ah cant fault you there, would love not to just want to play games when iv just got them in a sale like this...

You'll cave before the end though :p

I want to buy the Orange Box for my brother-in-law. I can see his profile through Steam but if he already had the game would it show in his profile?

I dont want to ring him and ask him, might spoil the surprise.

NVM - I think Ive found his 'game list'.

gah, after having a load of unplayed games still left over from last year and deciding I won't buy anything/much this year I've just bought:

Trine,
BF:BC2
Fear Pack
The Misadventures of P.B.Winterbottom

And that's just on day 1.

My new years resolution is to actually play all these steam games at some point :p

So Super Meat Boy is awesome.

Just wish I didn't have about £3 until Friday. Really want the F.E.A.R pack and I daresay there will be some awesome deals on during the remainder of this week :(.

I'm not buying anything this time unless they're nearly giving away big name titles like Dragon Age or Fallout.

Like many here I've got games from last year's sale that I've hardly touched.

oh man i gave up trying to resist and bought :

Fright Indie Pack
Kids Indie Pack
Prince of Persia : Warriors Within
The Misadventures of P.B WinterBottom
Civilization IV : Complete Pack
Deus Ex : Complete Edition

All for a price of £15.84. :D

Bahh, typical. My £11 copy of Bad Company 2 arrived on Saturday. Needed something to play and I didn't expect it to drop too far under £10 in the Steam sale. Oh well

The one I'll be going for if no better daily deals come along is the THQ pack...

Dawn of War 1 and 2 are on my want list as is CoH. Chuck in all their expansion packs as well as Red Faction, Stalker and more and it looks like a good deal for £35
