Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4323/

£3.47

A steal at this price. Civ 3 complete is £2 if you want to play on a netbook/outdated PC too.

Thanks mate that is a steal, I already have Civ 3 Complete from a previous sale, Civ 4 should work fine on my new netbook replacement (Intel CULV CPU) for £3.47 thats a lot cheaper than buying the addons separately.

I was also tempted by Railroad Tycoon 2 and 3 which are pennies, any opinions?

Hoping for Oblivion today :) - would really like to play it again and have it on Steam!

+1

So far I've got:

  • The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom - £0.39
  • Sid Meier's Pirates! - £1.49
  • Sid Meier's Railroads! - £1.49
  • Vegas: Make it big - £0.59

That's £4 well spent.

Civilization 4: Complete and East India Company: Collection in the basket.

Got the first one already on the discs, want a Steam copy though, the second one I'm still not sure of, it's £5.49 but looks very tempting to me.

I thought that £11 odd for Oblivion GOTY wasn't too bad but cheaper would be a bonus!

I've never heard or played any Civ games, no joke! Just had a look at the screenshots, looks a bit 'dated' to say the least. What exactly do you do in it?

New to PC gaming? At least one of the Civ games is usually always in the top 5 of those 'Top PC games of all time' lists.

What kind of evil employer doesn't pay their employees a bit early in December

What kind of silly employee doesn't have any money until he gets paid? ;) Seriously if anyone is living hand to mouth like that, maybe buying games should be a low priority until they sort their finances out.

The one that was homeless for a year and him and his mum managed to get back on their feet again and get a job probably? First christmas in years we've looked forward to and I can't get anything for that day.

Was going to get the Valve pack but I already have Portal, L4D and L4D2 - it said I won't get extra copies of them (was going to gift them) so meh! I'll wait for the Orange Box sale again.

EDIT: Oh, it's on 50% off... £8.49 - any likely to get cheaper? I've spent so much already :p

Anyone got any opinions on what hearts of Iron III and bad company 2 are like
Been interested in hearts of iron for a while, now it's relatively cheap.

Prince of Persia wise the first (Sands of Time) is by far and away the best. When they changed over to the new prince (Prince of Persia 3D or whatever its called) it all went down hill and became arty games rather than games that just played well.
