Don't worry folks.
I hear the Police are investing millions in training 'sniffer pigs' to replace sniffer dogs so as to avoid awkward situations like those described.

While sniffer pigs may be a good idea to some, there will inevitably be those who will be disappoinked by the very idea.

So all this "OMG MUSLIM TERRORISTS!!11" got me asking......Why hasn't Cracked (my 2nd favourite past time, the 1st is drinking tea) done a write-up on the state of the world re: Islam, yet?
So off I surfed to Cracked.com and oh my days there was an article right before my very eyes! In the usual Cracked style of writing too.
Obviously this won't change the minds of the die hard but at least it eases my mind that yes, there are some sane people left in the world and they write for Cracked ¬_¬

If you disagree with an islamic or muslim person on any issue your racist, dont you know?

I love it when there is a thread about *Muslim* *Islam* anything like that...
Because you get the TRUE/RACIST colour out of everyone on this forum...

The majority of people in this thread have actually been relatively pro-islam on this issue at least. So what exactly are you basing this statement on?
Not really. Lots of us disagree with muslims on a wide range of issues and are not racist.

and yes large quantities of carcinogenic petrol fumes have somewhat dented my intelligence, wit and to a lesser extent my ability to stand poorly disguised racism
Islam is a religion, the shared belief and culture of which makes the islamic people a race, check your definitions again. It is perfectly legitimate to desribe someone who openly dislikes Islamic people as a racist.
Even as someone earlier pointed out racism is strictly thinking one race is better than another, obviously thinking one race is worse has the same affect.
If you disagree with an islamic person on any issue because they're a muslim, then yes you are a racist.
If you generalise the entirety of islam based on the words or actions of a few then yes you're probably racist.
If you think that your country is at risk from a massive minority of the population who happen to in some cases be born outside of the country, then you're probably xenophobic, however if the only ones of these people you're worried about are a specific race (Islamic) then once again, you're a racist.
If you have genuine concerns, raise them, but at worst raise them of islamic extremists, and preferably of extremists in general, and then you might get somewhere.
Until you realise that probably even all extremists aren't the same (see four lions), and definitely not all people who class themselves as a certain religion are the same, then I don't have much hope for your getting on in the real world, and yes if you avoid these realisations, then you will inevitably be branded a racist and a bigot, because those are the views of racists and bigots.

I am going to disagree with you there and in general the law disagrees too, hence we have a seperate "Inciting religious hatred law." It is sloppy to call someone who dislikes Islam racist. Especially as there are plenty of legitimate reasons to dislike Islam as an ideology that have absolutely nothing to do with race. The important thing here is that Islam is an ideology and so something about someone that can change. People can choose to be muslims, people can choose to stop being muslims (at least in the UK...). I would be very wary of giving ideologies specific protections and calling anyone that disagrees with an ideology racist.
Well that's blatently not true.
I had long discussions about extremism with my ex-girlfriend condemning the actions of extremist muslims, and she was a Muslim.
However, I get the sneaky suspicision that you wouldn't say that she was a Muslim, because unless they tick all categories that boil your blood they cannot fit under the umbrella term.
