Jesus the one in the op is horrible, 2nd post one looks ok but seems to be missing a front bumper, maybe couldn't fit it over the FMIC? lol

A lot of the cars had that, I think as it was an auto show they were showing off, not leaving the bonnet closed and being boring :)

I believe they're all Hyundai engines, so not sure what you mean by changing everything,

I thought the OP car was from US, but looks to be from Oz! Can't be many brave enough to modify a Hyundai like that there!

Dunno how much left is actually is Hyundai but Tanner Foust runs one:

I like the one in the OP. Don't think they're too bad really. Friend has an i30 on mobility and it's not a bad little car all told. I'd prefer it over a Corsa that's for sure.

That is the new one? Dogbreath/Janesy confusion?
They get lots of different names thrown at it! Tuscani is another? Tiburon to...

Nope, the older ones were called that. It's known as the Genesis Coupe now, although it's in a different segment to the Tuscani/Tiburon.

I think that they're so close to delivering with the Genesis, that:

A) We'll never see them in the UK so will never really know

or

B) They'll have some crippling flaw that renders them totally unviable as a used car such as gearbox failure/engine failure/explode to death etc.

Evo seemed to think that the Genesis is a whisker away from being a viable alternative to the 370Z or similarly geared cars. It'll be great value, and residuals will be terrible so could be a good proposition, if Hyundai get it right.

As for the car in the OP - it looks like a Mardave V10 RC car IMO. :D

The Genesis coupe is pretty damn nice! RWD V8, LSD, mean sound and it handles very well too going by video reviews. Edmunds reviews etc have videos of it on Youtube and it fairs pretty well in terms of performance and handling.

Interior appears to be standard Jap affair though, still....not bad!
