I was giving my opinion on a show, just like everyone else
I watched it in the hope that it would at some point in the process it would become entertaining. I wanted to give it a chance. Don't worry, I won't be watching the next one.
I reckon the SLS looks awful, but it does sound good.
The 458 on the other hand is beautiful, and didn't sound too bad either.

I loved the show, who cares if is staged, Wrestle-mania 27 was watched by over 1.2 million people in the US alone and thats about as staged as it gets. New top gear is not a car show it is a car themed entertainment show, old top gear was a car show and it got cancelled because nobody watched it because car shows are boring to most people and have a much lower target audience.
Top gear is the most watched show on iPlayer, the most watched show on the entire BBC (worldwide viewers, and lets face it a BBC2 show beating east-enders is pretty impressive ^^) and in comparison it has double the viewers of the closest show on BBC2. So all in all they must be doing something right
My opinions on the cars:
The Ferrari: Remember when Audi took over at lambo? yeah, it just doesn't look like a proper Ferrari to me, de-badge it and have it in white/black/yellow and I guarantee half the people you ask (who don't know what it is) will say Lambo/koenigsegg/McLaren/or maybe even that new Toyota/Subaru super car their working on. Don't like the steering wheel either, personally If I was going to spend that much on a Ferrari id buy a 328 Turbo and use some of the change to modernise/restore it.
The Merc: Really liked it, it didn't look space age like the Ferrari it had obvious old school designs like the angle for he front, looked very nice though the doors were a bit silly but still my fav of the three.
The Porsche Ive not been a massive fan of this type of Porsche, and in this colour scheme I like it less, like the Ferrari its merely aesthetic problem as I like the sound of the car in principle just not the looks. Its looks kinda like a stretched beetle to me in the gray and the white schemes. Its strange because I do like the 997, the Silver ones that launched in 2005 were sexy but I don't like the GT ones with weird colour schemes and decals that look like they came from eBay.

There is nothing cute about the brutal looks of the SLS and that near limousine length of a bonnet.
Also the Porsche was damn noisy inside, you could hardly hear Hammond talk! It would have been OK if the engine sounded as mean as the other 2 from inside the cabin but meh....
She's already one of the presenters on the German version of Top Gear isn't she?If they do get a new Stig I hope its that German woman that owns the 'ring. She has been in a few episodes if I remember correctly. She would make a great addition to the TopGear team.

One of those stupid "turn left on red" things if that's the case. Bloomin dangerous and I almost got run over a few times when I was in the states recently! Anyone that really thinks we should impliment that in the UK should be forced to clean up the bodies if we do!

stage wow, not as if any other show in the world is staged and apparently it's less staged than people think, it's just they've been doing it for so many years and they just automatically do the same jokes. Much like ocuk memes. But who cares if it's staged.
it's a car entertainment show, not a car review show. Car review shows suck as you only look for a new car maybe a couple of times in your life, other than that who cares about the ins and the outs. They told us the important bits for such cars BHP.

it's only a problem because of the walkways. Just put red and amber on together for no left turn or something. That way if the pedestrian lights are green you can't go.

The road he is turning right onto is a one way and as the pedestrian crossing on his road was on red his light would have been on green, the cars on the one way road being stopped seem to support this so I would guess the people crossing may have been doing so on a red light hoping that he was going ahead its a bit of a crazy system. /shrug
