Poll: Do mods do their job properly ?

They do a decent job considering the size of this place, I still don't agree with why I was suspended but there you go.
 
It was about guns, it was a stupid post and I was young and immature, everyone blamed me for targeting feek which was BS, even proved it with date stamps but nobody listened.
 
well that doesn't answer the question at all.

Did you insult someone or did you post on how to get a mac10 in olny 2 minutes?
 
I posted a video of a BB gun fight, someone said that at the beginning of the video the person recording pointed (at me actually) and said "feek", then proceeded to empty a clip into me.

But you recoverd from your gunshot wounds very quickly.
 
The Mods on here do a cracking job in my opinion, other forums are shocking in comparison.

It's a shame that a few let the power go to their heads though, when decent posters go bad!!!! or let their promotion turn them into an arse.
 
I can't say I agree that they do a good job in Members Market. Over the top modding in there and inconsistant. Just my opinion.
Motors forum has big issues, but to deal with it would be opening a can of worms. It basically would mean policing a select few users that ruin it for everyone, and these users would feel like they were being picked on and it would all kick off.
 
Never had a problem with these forums really although i have asked for my username to be changed to just Trusty a few times with no luck. ;);) hint hint!! :D
 
The mods do a good job here and are very fair on dishing out warnings/suspensions. I only have a problem with the pc brigade and grammar Nazis who purposely stir and engage in those who will bite back and subsequently lose their rag ending in a suspension or ban.

You are supposed to e-mail them to ask for a name change. I would laugh if they changed your username to "Trusty a few times with no luck" just as you requested.:D
 
Not been here long, not posted a great deal but I do find the atmosphere to be relaxed and good humoured, I think the mods do a good job considering the size of the forums and the variety of topics covered. I also think the vast majority of members do a great job of "self policing"

I think a good lurk on here helps before diving in

It's been reasonably quiet in motors lately.

If you think there's a problem with the moderating in the MM I would appreciate it if you contacted one of the MM Dons to discuss this as we try to be consistent throughout.
