The best car(s) YOU'VE ever driven

If we are including 'experience days' then for me it was thrashing an Exige round Thruxton as it is such a capable car.

On the road it has to be my Elise. Epic drivers car which feels like you and the car are connected, immense fun & more than fast enough for the road. It still makes me smile even after 5 years although it certainly wasn't the best in the snow as I found out last week!

Probably an M3 or Focus RS.

The most relaxing and joyfull ride would be My old Honda S2000 though.

No driving experiance beats top down in nice weather and 9000rpm.

most exciting was prob an evo 10 fq360, best car was prob a new top spec tdv8 range rover. all through work mind you, drove the range rover for a whole day, evo for about an hour :p

Probably my first Galant vr4... it was just right, power delivery the chassis/suspension setup, it was all good.

..till i sold it and it was stolen :(

Driven: C63 AMG, Porsche Boxster, Corvette C5 Z06

Guilty pleasure: Renault Wind 1.2TCe

Owned: Corvette C4 with Z51 performance handling package, Ford Puma 1.7, E34 BMW 540i 6-speed with AC Schnitzer suspension

Guilty pleasure: 1974 Triumph Dolomite Sprint with a 3.5-litre Rover V8, 5-speed box and a few other things. Such fun to hoon around in. Still miss it :(

The worst car I've ever driven? A Mk1 Ford Focus 1.6. Ghastly car.

My MR2 is the car I've had the most fun in, really nice engine for a 4-pot and just a complete giggle to throw around :)

Worst? 1.3 diesel Fiesta I rented in Spain a couple of years back :D

Adrenaline rush/"drivers car" wise it goes to my 16v 205 GTI without a doubt. It was old, rattly, cramped and generally a really **** road car, but my god did it make sense when on a track.

March 85b for speed, Mk1 Elise for "**** me this is great, how can it be so smooth yet so sharp". Not about best for me, about what made the biggest impression.

I've been fortunate to drive some very nice cars but the one that sticks out for me (despite being out half the price of some the other metal) is the Porsche Cayman S. That is what I call a superb all round car.
