I think steam have been pretty good with the deals this year.

Much like every sale they do, they have a few good deals and then the rest of the stuff just gets reduced to what the game is actually worth.

I don't think there has been anything mediocre about these sales.

People need to realise these sales are more about the game developers getting a load of cash for generally non-new/indie games. Since the percentage increase in sales numbers far outweighs the percentage decrease in price.

So no, you won't be getting Black Ops for £10

TBH, I'd rather just pay a monthly subscription and have access to the entire library. But I guess that wouldn't work with the plethora of DRM/CD-keys that are required.

Ooooo Serious sam HD for a few quid and KOTOR for 1.75 are pretty good (getting KOTOR as iv lost disc one I think)

It's the same every sale, the good stuff at the start to get everyones hopes up and then after that it's mostly average stuff.
