Crysis at £2.49 and the Doom pack are also tempting me.

Lol I reckon all these steam sales will leave consoles in dust especially PS3 for us PC gamers .

Nothing will pull console players away from there crappy low res old tech machines...

And us PC gamers are the ones that got put up with game ports that are desgined to run on crappy old console hardware

Only thing I might get is Crysis, already bought Simcity 4 last week for £5 thinking it was an amazing deal as my laptop doesn't have a DVD drive!

Dirt 2 and SimCity 4 for me.
I bought SimCity 4 when it was released but as I recall it was ridiculously hard compared to its predecessors, so I flogged it. For £2.50 though it's gotta be worth another pop.

What I meant was that when it comes to steam, EA, GFWL sales, consoles can't compete on this front with PC. I bought over 40 various games in recent steam sales and the amount I spent, I may have gotten only 3-5 xbox 360 or ps3 games .

True, but then it's always been swings and roundabouts. Console games seem to mostly plummet in price after 12-18 months anyway (some even sooner) so it's not really a massive difference.

It's still pretty good on a keyboard yeah, on a controller it might be slightly better but I've actually grown to prefer the keyboard.

Crysis is a superb game and well worth giving a try at that price. Wouldn't mind having them on Steam, but given the DRM I think I'll just keep the boxed copies.

Mount and blade is well worth a purchase people I got it in the paradox bundle and i am hooked. Such good fun and i am loving the combat. If anyone else has it add me to steam my name is in the sig and we can do some multiplayer

Global Agenda is well worth the dosh for those wondering, it's sort of an RPG shoot'em'up with legions and PvP zone battles. They introduced crafting albeit limited and you can go questing outside (basic avg stuff tbh) or join a queue and fight it out in the arena's.

I bought Section 8 as I really enjoyed the beta back in the day, again a bit like Global Agenda with objectives to complete during battles with different loadouts to select oh and jetpacks !! hopefully at this price the servers will have lots of newbie players.

Caved in and eventually bought IL-2, not on steam though on gog. Saved myself about 40p Could have saved a pound and got an American to gift it to me on steam but that's too much hassle.

All I've got to do now is buy a good cheap joystick.
