Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

1920x1080 on crysis. Q6600 @ 2.7 (normally have it at 3, but was checking something out and haven't clocked it back) + 4850 512MB of ram can run at mostly high with shadows and a motion blur off and almost 30FPS at the start of crysis. Not shabby considering the card isn't clocked!

I got 45 at the start on medium. I'm damn well looking forward to the new card though! :p
 
Just joined OCUK as got bored of lurking this thread.

So far there hasn't been many good deals on steam.

I got Just Cause 2 for £5, Batman Arkum Asylum for about £7, Flatout Ultimate for £4 or so and a few other cheap games here and there
 
to be honest you can't really complain about the sales you are getting games for cheaper than usual whats wrong with that?

Apparently the two can be combined. if you got arma on disk and oa on a download, it can work so the maps are altogether etc
 
Trying to download Crysis off steam, my download speeds get up to 1.2mb/s then drops to 0.0kb, then back up again.

Any ideas why?

Well you are running AA which rapes in Crysis, tried it without? It played OK for me on my 8800GT on high but as you say it was about 25-30 fps.
