Anyone here dislike driving?

I have a real love hate thing going on with my driving, Driving my car and going on a b road blast is my most fun I can have with my clothes on tbh!

Driving the works van all day or when the snow came using the gf's Micra to get about. Hate it!

Yes bloody hate it, but being stuck with a gammy hip atm am being forced to use my car license for a change! Bike is stuck in garage while i poodle around in a 2000 polo 1.4 auto (quiet nippy surprisingly), although even the car hurts my hip, just not as bad as the bike :(

As long as I have my music collection I have a track for every driving occasion almost so all is well :p

I wasn't keen on it driving back from Scotland at 04:30 yesterday morning, as I couldn't see the road, or any markings. Just 2 faint tyre lines in the snow where some one had driven before me earlier :(

I love driving almost all of the time. Only rarely does it feel like a chore.

Obviously sitting on the motorway in a rubbish car isn't as entertaining as a decent car on a decent road but I enjoy it all the same.

When I was spending over about two hours a day traversing Brussels, I began to get really quite tired of driving.

New job means 15 minute motorway commute and I'm much happier.
That, and a fun car to **** about in makes it even better :)

Just passed my test and I hate driving.

Probably down to the fact of having no confidence. It is fun on a straight road without anything to remove wing mirrors and stuff :D

Really should get out more I guess! all I do is work and back.

I don't like driving and find it a real chore. If I could afford it I would have a chauffeur!

I am sure I would enjoy driving a nice car around a track, but day to day driving, e.g driving through London, or driving on a motorway is extremely tiresome.

If it weren't for other people being on the road, pointless traffic lights and retarded junction layouts found here, then I'd love driving. As it stands however, I just find it frustrating. I have given up driving as I'm going back into education, perhaps when I qualify and go back to earning and obviously buy another car I'll feel differently.

I've just done a 2000 mile roundtrip over the last 5/6 days to see my family in France. Loved every second of it. Despite it not being a special car the Civic does motorways and route nationale really in it's stride. Though the deluge of snow did make it a bit slow going in the mountain areas.

I've thought about a big barge to cruise up to the lakes or scotland in, but when I get there I quite like having something sporty to tear up the tarmac.

Catch 22 I guess. If I could I'd let someone else drive up the M6 and I'd have a nap, swapping over when the roads got interesting :)

Used to love driving. Never really been a petrol head as such but have owned a few moderately quick cars, last one was an ST220.

However 2 years ago I accepted a promotion at work which came with a car and a huge increase in business miles.

That meant the ST had to be sold and I'm now left driving a sodding Prius (did not have a choice) for 25-30k per annum which is absolutely horrible and I now hate driving with every single part of me :(

The wife owns a Focus C-max which is a nicer drive but nothing like what could be called fun.
