Cheers for the link, shame about the conclusion.
Thought Corsair would keep the quality good![]()
...suggest a decent alternative.
Can anybody suggest any, there is the Antec Earthwatts 380w (Green)...
They are pretty good units actually. Nothing spectacular but solid and stable. Antecs prices have crept up quite a bit over the past year or so though.

These D-versions of some Antec PSUs are made by Delta.Indeed so, Review
In overall also component quality has gone up considerably starting from Antecs five years ago:
Those old CWT made SmartPowers and TruePower I/II (also sold as trueControl) had horribly low quality capacitors so they can be called just as well with the names SmartBomb and TrueBomb.
In Seasonic made Neo HE and TruePower Trio secondary capacitors were generally used ones while now TruePower New uses all Japanese capacitors and same goes for new High Current serie made by Delta. (and PSU platforms of both are also from higher end)

The StealthXStream 500W is good alternative
Lol I bought on of those True Powers about a few years ago thing blew on me as soon as I turned it on. Smoke actually smelled quite nice!
Thought making some True Power insense!
Only the SxS II's are worth a mention. The originals are sub-par.
Corsair are abusing their brand name recognition... The CX430 is a 300-350w at best.
