I Just bought Supreme Com 2, Team Fortress 2 and both Stalker games for a total of £8.99!

Great prices at Steam :) ...

Yeah they use discounts to sell you stuff you don't play - fantastic prices! :/

It's like when my mum passes the pound shop - she goes in and spends a tenner on crap she doesn't need.

I make myself work through the steam discount games so i don't feel i have wasted my money. I don't always finish them completely but i get my moneys worth.

Except for the fact that those games, bar Supreme Commander, are brilliant.

The sales were dire, not steams fault just a huge shortage of PC games being made.

It is Steam's fault though, I have bought relatively little this sale because I've already bought all the other games :o

For those new to Steam this sale would be as good as any other.

My point was that if there were 10 guality games each year then I may have bought some of them in the sale.

I actually can't really think of any top quality games for PC this year :(

You must have either played one game solid for years or are new to PC gaming.

Depends on what games he had already, you could spend over £100 on say the THQ pack, Square/Eidos pack and 2K packs and have loads of great games (although to be fair it's highly unlikely you would have time to play all of them as it's something like 80 games). At least 30-40 of them are very good games though.

My Xfire account says I've played 4,222 hours over the last five years. That's just over 16 hours a week, a reasonable amount I would say.
