775 cooler

I'm looking for a replacement to the stock intel cooler on a second box that i have. It's an older core 2 chip and it doesn't support temperature monitoring but since i've had it as a server you can feel it's hotter by touch.

I've had the Arctic 7 Freezer pro before, it's cheap and did the job very well.

Any ideas on cheap, good coolers for the 775 chipset?

Why not Just use another Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, they're the daddy's in cheap cooling.

You can of course get many more high performance coolers for a price, however seeing as it's a 'cheap' cooler you're looking for...

I recommend: Cooler Master Hyper TX3. It's not far behind the Freezer 7 Pro, and you can't get better for under £15 in my opinion.

All Core 2 chips will support temp monitoring (barring ES chips without sensors enabled), unless you mean its a Pentium 4 LGA chip..
